Question about stand for aquarium??

I've ordered an 60" x 30" x 26" euro braced aquarium for my new build. A local fabricator made a steel stand for me that is a 1/16" of an inch short on the width. It is a hair under 30". Is this a big deal or do you think I am fine? I will be putting a 3/4" ply with pad under the tank of course. Your help is appreciated.

I wouldn't worry about it at all especially if your backing is to the correct size.

Thanks for the response. I thought so. I actually asked him to add 1/8" to all dims but he said sometimes the heat from welding causes the metal to do funny things when it cools. Just wanted to make sure since I've never setup a tank this large before. Appreciate the feedback!

I agree, center the tank on it with a proper sized plywood base and it won't be of any concern. You're talking a 1/32" gap on either edge which is negligible in the grand scheme of things. As long as the stand is square and level you'll be fine.
