I was recently gifted a Deep Blue rimless 60 cube and stand. The stand has an open top, similar to what you'd see for a standard rimmed tank. The tank had no bracing at all. Will the fact that the stand is open and only supports the edges of the aquarium cause a problem? Should I look at cutting a piece of plywood to fit the dimensions on the tank and cover it with neoprene? Never had a rimless tank before and would like to keep it from breaking and spilling all that water all over my floor.
