Added water to the system this past weekend, ordering reef flakes today, if I add live sand (from local lfs) to the refugium and one piece of live rock to the DT will it be enough bacteria for the cycle? Then, when my sand I ordered arrives just add that during the cycle? I also will be adding more live rock in a few weeks.

It may start it, but slowly. Best bet is to add some sort of ammonia source to start the full cycle.

Are you planning fully cured live rock? Or just rock someone is telling you is live.

If it's truly fully cured rock and transported properly then there's no need to do anything but wait until the rock is in there. There should be no cycle or a very small cycle of its seasoned rock.
