Question about sump and one the top overflow

Hello all

As a lot of you may already know I talk a lot about the 75 gallon tank that I started. One of the things that’s getting more and more irritating for me is no space to add anything. I am currently using a fluval FX4. Tunze in tank skimmer. Two heaters. Sumpless ato. Just so much clutter in my tank!

I am strongly considering after my tank is completely cycled making the jump to a sump.

Here is what I am thinking about buying.

Thoughts?

To be honest, no I haven’t. I’m afraid to do something like that because I never have before. It is a 75 gallon that I bought from Petsmart on clearance. Marine land 75g

Check with Marinland to make sure the back is not tempered glass (it most likely isn't) and drill it. It is surprisingly easy. An internal overflow/return is sooo much nicer. If you decide to drill, to be safe you will want to drain the tank.

This is why I want to do it sooner. Before I start building coral and other items. Tank is almost through the cycle phase.
