I have a 120 gallon tank and a 36x24x12 frag tank all plumbed together. I am braking them down to redo my tank. I have an extreme blue clove polyp problem. I went out and bought a new 75 gallon tank. I am going to be moving all my corals and a few fish to this tank. I will be cooking my live rock with all the cloves on them to kill them. I will then cure them and setup my 120 and recycle it. My question is when I break down the 120 and move everything to the 75 should I use my tank water and new live sand. They will onlt be in there till I setup my 120 and get it cycled. I was thinking to use 75 gallons of tank water and filling the sump with new water so it would be just like a water change. What do you guys think? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks Frank

Most rocks are covered in polyps. So it would be just a couple of pieces. Will it be ok if I put them in sump?
