Do you do a more subdued coral insert ,less colors. More natural- with so much color the fish get lost or blurred out. You do beautiful work but it would be nice to see what you do more natural. Thank you
Scaping is more of a preference

Welcome To The Reef!

For some it is all about the coral. Fish are there to do a job for the most part, for others it's the fish and Then the coral, so it's a personal choice. But you can have both.

As far as scaping , your tank is your canvas . Think about the coral you plan on having and or fish . Draw it out on paper a few times til you get something you like all keeping in mind that if your plans include coral that your design includes the space and height for proper PAR each coral you plan to have may need . Also the hiding places for any fish you plan to get . Good luck ! Welcome to The hobby

Welcome to the R2R community! Definitely personal preference for scaping. Just because I like a more natural look for even my frag racks doesn't mean you have to do the same for example. Just do you. You’ll know what looks good to you as you go along.
