I'm in the process of DIYing an LED fixture and am interested in running it via a controller. I've read the description of the Apex Jr. online but I would like some input from someone who has had first hand experience or is currently using one. I'm basically going to run dimmable blue and white LEDs and would like to controll them separately i.e. sunrise to sunset setup. I would like to also control it via my iphone. I currently have a wireless router that controls my home internet and would like to know with this set up if the Apex Jr. will do all of this.

I also like the capability it has to add more modules like a temp, ph, salinity in the future.

Yes, you would be able to, but you have to add the variable speed module.....called the VDM. It enables 4 channels of 0-10v control for LEDS or tunze pumps.

Will the Apex Jr. allow me to control it via iphone? Will it recognize my home wireless network? I saw a thread where Kevan said I would have to update the firmware but I wasn't sure if it's only for the Apex only or the Lite and Jr.

Yeah i can control my apex jr with my smartphone anywhere i go. Now i dont thonk i have mine setup completely as about every 3days i have to change the IP address which that might because i dont have a static IP
