Question about treating with Prazi

I had thought that Prazi Pro was not reef safe. But General Cure can be used (in my experience) in a reef environment. It did not hurt anything in my aquarium. One caveat I do not have anemones in the tank. But all inverts and corals were fine. So my question is can I use Prazi Pro with the same results? General Cure has Praziquantrel in it.

Prazi pro is invert safe but will kill worms
Apply an initial dose and allow to work for 8 days, change water and do one more 8 day application
Remove carbon and increase oxygen with air stone

It’s generally the other way around - Prazipro is reef safe, but the metronidazole in general cure makes it less reef safe.
Prazipro needs to be dosed twice, 8 or 9 days apart, with really good aeration, and keep any skimmer running, but just don’t collect any skimmate. Remove any carbon. I always said prazi will kill feather dusters and other worms, but people report that it didn’t harm their worms, so IDK.

I can say from experience that prazi is reef safe. Ive used it several times in my reef tanks to get rid of eye flukes and it never harmed anything, in fact it didnt even kill off my bristle worms.

Did you have feather dusters in the tank?

No I dont, just bristles.

Yeah it left my bristles alone. I noticed some distress with my feather duster so I moved it to be safe. Might have been ok. Sometimes you find out too late its not ok. It stresses Sea anemones but just stress.
