My KH and CA were being maintained nearly right at my settings. My reagent A ran out and I replaced it and now my KH isn't being maintained. My KH set at 8.5 and it keeps going from 8.76 to 9.06 back and forth since the reagent change.

When the reagent A ran out I used the wizard to change it. If the DOS went to a fallback state while the reagent was out will it return to Trident control automatically once the reagent is replaced? I don't understand why it keeps dosing Alk the entire time that Alk is higher than set. I would think it would pause dosing till the numbers get down.

I am testing 24 times for now till everything is stable again.

My understanding is that if your alkalinity falls outside the range that you specify for the Trident - the controlled dosing aspect doesn't apply.

Insofar as using the Wizard, you'd have to click on the outlet icon for the DOS alkalinity and check the schedule to see if Trident controlled dosing has been configured.

I cleaned the testing vial in the Trident which is super easy to do and my testing is back to being stable. First cleaning since purchase in 2019. Trident controlled dosing constantly overshoots my setting of 8.5 and triggers defaults. Have not been able to maintain my settings without triggering defaults.
