Ok so I just got a good deal on a used Apex EL. I ordered the Trident, not ordered the Dos yet. Going to be here soon.

My question is can I set a "targeted" level in Apex Fusion. Like set my targeted level of Alk to 8.5 and then the Doser will dose to get it to targeted level? How does it work?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can either let the Trident control the DOS, or set it manually. I let my Trident control my DOS and I love it. I let the Trident chase the numbers. You have to have a DOS and turn on auto-dosing for the Trident to control it. You just go to the task menu to turn it on.

Ok. Do you have to use a specific 2 part then?

The trident or DOS really don't about what you use, they are just trying to monitor and raise it if needed. I use BRS 2-part. I could set up a 3rd pump and dose Mag, but my Mag rarely changes.

I am in the process of calibrating mine right now, I recommend every time you change all 3 reagents to do a calibration on the Trident. As the reagents start to run out the head on the pump changes and that can effect the readings.

Ok then, guess I need to get some containers to hold the 2 part.
