Thought I may get a quick answer on here. Cleaning out several tanks that had lots of build up. If I clean with vinegar and rinse and let dryout should that be good to make it safe to fill later? I remember always using it but that was smaller tanks that I could put outside in the sun and dry. I am trying to clean up a 240gal that will have to stay in place inside. Thanks for any advice. Pattie

As long as you rinse it really well, should be fine!

I would go as far as to say even if you don't rinse it at all it will be fine. Even if there is vinegar left at the bottom of the tank worst case you get a little bacterial bloom. Given that it's a 240 gallon that you're not going to be tipping over, if you don't plan on using a shop vac or something similar, I would just use a towel and wipe most of it out then start to refill.

Thank ya'll. This makes me feel better. Lll
