Good morning everyone. Quick question I hope for those of you using either of the Apex COR pumps. What are you using for a intake cover or are you just leaving it as is with nothing? I have a rather large population of Strombus snails (they breed pretty well in captivity) that I will be moving to the new tank so worried they will end up in the sump at some point which means possibly into the pump.

It doesn't ship with anything so was wondering what others are doing or if concerned. Right now sump is empty more or less of anything so it is just running along pretty smoothly. However, I'm thinking I may need something and I didn't want to restrict anything with regards to flow.

Thanks and have a great day.

@crabs_mcjones Thanks! I didn't even think of those. That second one - the low profile - looks promising. I need to place an order with them anyway so might as well add one and see how it goes. I believe the intake is 1" so will go with that. Thanks again - really appreciate it. Sort of feel dumb for not thinking of that.
