I feel I am running a basic setup. The room never gets above 75°. My tank is 120 gallons plus 30 gallons sump and is running about 82°. It is a rimless with no canopy and just 1 kessil AP700. I am wonder what others are doing to keep their tanks cool in hotter climates.

I live in central Florida, 80 gal with 20-30 gal Sump. 8x54w Sunpower which is a heat maker. I keep my house around 76 and have no need for a chiller, my tank stays at 78 with heater. I find some people have problems keeping there tank cool and I don't know why.

Are you getting fresh air or air circulation under the tank, in the stand? Plenty of flow in the tank?

Yeah it has air flow. The top is open with a ten foot ceiling. I am thinking it must be the return pump.

I love in south fl and just keep my ac at 72 or 73. No issues with tank temp, it varies from 79.6 to 79.9 with the heater. Ro water under the tank stays around 74-75.
