Do you set the kelvin to change throughout the day?

For example I have my lights start at 10 or 15 percent color and then ramp up throughout the day. They finally turn off at the full actinic blue.

Do you think would be better to set the lights at a constant kelvin?

from a coral perspective they don't care if the kelvin ramps up and down as long as they get the intensity and spectrum required for photosynthesis, but it sure looks nice :)

I run a one hour ramp up and down from 0% to 50% and steady at 50% for the main photo period on my kessils via an apex.

+1
My 4 Kessil a80's start at 5% color and 5% intensity at 9:30 am and hit 50% color and 100% intensity at 11am and my t5's kick in with them until 7pm. Then the t5's shot off at 7pm and my Kessil's ramp back down from 50/100 to total off from 7pm to 8:30 pm.

So the Kessil's and t5's run a straight line full daylight period for 8 hours.

Sorry to revive an older thread. But with kessils it really doesn't matter what color you put it at. Kessil did a really good job of mixing their spectrum so no matter what color percentage you put it at, its optimized for the photosynthesis of the zooxanthellae in the corals. The ability to add more white is mostly for aesthetics and for viewing your fish and corals during the day. I have mine set up with the Bluefish LED Controller. So mine start out at 0% color at 10 am, and ramp up to %50 color at noon, hold there until 6pm, and then ramp back down to %0 by 8PM. :)
