I run a fairly low nutrient system supplemented by AA and assorted small partical food.
Polyp extension on all my acros is normal, color is a bit pastel, and growth is normal.
One of my good sized tables has several discolored spots on its underside. I have dipped this coral and random others several times using a few different dips on numerous occasions and found no pests. This was expected as I have a extensive dipping routine.
These discolored spots still have flesh but are only slightly darker than the actuall skeleton. During feeding, mass amounts of filaments appear on these spots.
Is this a normal behavior? Anyone else experience this? Perhaps I should boost my nutrients a bit?
