New to owning a tall tank (31 inches tall)... Anyone have any good tricks or tools they use to scrape the glass?

Have a good magnet but it can only do so much and would like to keep all four walls clean (tank is built into the wall and I have window tint so I can see in from the sides and back - love that I can see the back side of the rockeork while I am doing maintenance or water testing)

Basically I have been diving in shoulders deep and hand cleaning as my "stick" scraper seems pretty useless. It's pretty comical - to reach the far corners, I actually have to get my face wet. I used to just hand scrape with a razor blade on my old shorter tank but that really isn't much of an option now.

Anyone try that eheim power scraper? They are a good company and can't imagine them putting out a piece of crap.

Hadn't seen that one in my searches. Thanks for the link. Do the blades last fairly long?

Also what magnet do you use? There are algae magnets and there are ALGAE MAGNETS and it makes a difference.

I have a mag float (not sure which model). It is pretty old though. The velcro is probably kind of worn out.

I purchase them in a 30 pack from Premium since I use several everyday between various tanks... but around the office I keep a couple aside and they do last a couple weeks .
Beautiful angel for your avatar by the way!
Thanks :)

Check out Magnavore algae mags for the best of the best, IMO/IME.
