OK, so to me it seems that these guys are sooooo temperamental about being moved. It's like weeks or longer after they get moved before they start to look normal again.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

I’ve had zoas that don’t care if I throw them around and I’ve also had zoas that won’t open for a week after I put them in. in my experience it depends on the piece. I’ve also noticed the longer they stay and the more mature a tank is the less of that sensitive period exists.

Thanks, the tank is 16 months old. Other zoas are much quicker to open, but not the fire&ice.

I can probably football my fire and ice across the living room and they won’t close. Just varies from tank to tank I think not so much the “species” of zoa.

Sure wish mine were like that. Almost 2 weeks and they are just now starting to look like they should.

Maybe another week then I'll tick them off again and move them to hopefully their final location.
