I will be helping a friend set up his new tank this weekend he bought which is a 160 and currently has a 75 we will be breaking down....

160 includes large naso, large yellow, and large sailfin tang, 4 clowns, a 3 foot snowflake eel, and a humu trigger

75 includes small yellow and naso tangs, small foxface, two clowns, hawkfish, filefish, and two anemones

my question is what all can he miss and match....

the eel is a no go all together as i will be trying to sell and we are getting rid of it along with the small naso from the 75. Would the two clowns from his tank be able to make it with two of the other clowns and get rid of two from the bigger tank. I believe the foxface if added early would be fine along with the hawkfish and filefish. The anemones are scary to add because of the humu humu and not sure if it would even be worth attempting to add them. thoughts.....

thanks in advance

I would love to have the naso. But before adding and fish get your rock where you want it and turn the lights out four the night. Then add all the fish together and it will cut back on a lot of the aggression because all well be trying to find the right spot for the night. Knee lights come back on the next day it will be more of a shock to see who all is in there but home well already be claimed for the most part. Hope that helped with your question you asked

I would love too have the naso when he decides to rehome it. But I wouldn't risk the trigger at all. They are just to aggressive as for the others they should be fine together. With the clowns though I would add them all are once with the lights out. There may still be some aggression issues but not as bad as trying to add them slowly on time
