Hi, a while back I saw online someone uses Gac as bio filter in the same way zeolite is used in Zeovit method. I don’t remember which company is promoting this. Can someone point me to the right direction? Maybe share his or her experiences if applicable. I would like to do some research on it. Thank you

I think the idea is to replace a portion of the gac, not the whole lot.

Bacteria clearly grew on mine when I was dosing vinegar, and I thought it was a fine place for them to grow.

I retained some of the GAC each time I changed any, to reseed, since I didn't want them growing somewhere else unsightly.

Thank you, Randy. Do you use any other bio filter such as Siporax? Or do you think gac is adequate?

Adequate for providing space for bacteria? If you have lots of rock and sand you may need nothing, but I don't think you generally need Siporax or similar materials in a reef tank. :)
