Based on my understanding ich can be present in the tank and will attack the fishes when their immunity system is low. Hence, most of the fishes don't show sign of ich even the tank is having ich issue.

I wondering is fluke having the same behaviour? Will fishes like Tang be able to resist fluke when they are fat and healthy?

It is likely that you won't see symptoms for a while if they are healthy but flukes will eventually overwhelm the fish's gills and essentially suffocate them. Secondary bacterial infections are also common. If you have flukes you want to get rid of them, they aren't something fish can tolerate long term

I'm currently suspecting one of my tang is having fluke symptoms but is unable to catch him out and do a dip to verify. My tank is running on for 14 mths and the tangs are in the tank for at least 4 to 6 mths.

I'm wondering the possibility of whether is fluke present in my DT, since the fishes show no symptoms for so long.

All fishes has been through quarantine observation for 3 to 4 weeks before entering the DT. (Not all fish been through medication treatment)

Flukes are very common now, if one fish has them it's very likely the rest of your fish have them too. You can try a freshwater dip on any fish you can catch to check for flukes, if you do find them you can treat your dt with 2 doses of prazipro 7 to 10 days apart. Another freshwater dip on any fish 7 to 10 days after the second dose will confirm if they have been eradicated. If they are still present after the prazi treatment then it's likely your dealing with a prazi resistant strain and a different treatment would be necessary at that point.

What symptoms are you seeing with your tang?

I did some dip in the past for other fishes but no sign of flukes spotted.

I'm planning to get some black molly to check on the tank.

The tang have something grow on the eye but unable to identify, this is the 2nd time i spotted this on the same tang.

I performed dips for my fishes in the past few mths back but no sign of fluke spotted.

I spotted something grow on the tang's eye but unable to identify it. This is the 2nd time j spotted the same symptoms. The last time was few mths back.

Dosing prazi is quite a big risk for me as I have tons of feather dusters and tube worm in my sump. I'm very sure ammonia spike will happen. This will be my last resort and I'm still thinking how to execute it safely.
