Looking to build a fish tank with following specs: 64L30W24H, roughly 200G volume. Am I ok using 5/8' glass with eurobracing on top and bottom? Other option is 3/4' but costs much higher. Thank for your input.

England here, my tank is 65 x 26 x 18 shallow in 10 mm / 3/8" and is Euro braced at the top, imo you should be fine, mine was made for me.

I would think 5/8" would be more than sufficient for an eurobraced tank only 24" tall. Marineland use 12 mm (slightly less than 1/2") on their seven foot, 30" tall tank.

5/8 will work great but 10mm is closer to 1/2 inch. How much is the glass? I’ve been curious about building my own recently.

That is plenty. I have a 60x36x24 that has top and bottom eurobracing and it was built using 1/2”
