Question on Hawaii fish ban.

Sorry in advance, this is probably a really dumb question.

The ban prevents the sale of fish, but does the ban prevent people from diving in Hawaii, collecting fish and then shipping them back to our home.

I know, it’s not as easy as that, but just wondering if that ban itself prevents that.

It prevents commercial harvesting I believe. Not allowed to catch and sell.

From what i have read the ban does not prevent collection for personal use(assuming you follow regulations related to that). However i only play a lawyer on R2R so if you end up in jail dont call me
