So I was just curious about lighting schedules for reef tanks... currently I have a 29 gallon bio cube with all its basic lighting which are...
1- 36 watt actinic blue
1- 36 watt 10,000k daylight
1- .75 watt lunar blue led bar

What should my light schedule be?
Am I supposed to run all 3 lights during the day? And only the moonlight at night or do they all shut off at night? I don't have a timer for my lights yet so I'm trying to figure this all out so I can get what I need! I feel like I'm wasting my lights life span the way I've been running them! Any info or advice is much appreciated!

The light schedule at the equator, where most corals are, is 12 hours light, 12 hours dark. Generally you'll set the lights to ramp up to full brightness for a 6 hour period then ramp down. So, 3 hours in the morning ramping up, 6 hours full light, 3 hours ramping down. You can run your moon lights or not at night.
