question on Natural Sunlight hitting the tank

Does it hurt to have sunlight hit the tank for about 2 hours a day which at that time my lights will go out except the Blue ones.

Won't hurt a bit. Mine gets some sun during certain times of the year.

For two hours, you probably won't experience any big issues but the two things, IMO, you need to look for are excess algae on the areas where the glass is hit and overall temperature of the tank.

No problem for only a few hours. I did have some lower light zoas that didn't react well to the sunlight

i was thinking they sell a system where u can cut a hole in your roof then it directs the sunlight down through a vent then to a hood,where it is spread out over the tank,Im really thinking bout doing that if it works just gotta find the site that sells it now..thanks all The sun only hits the back of the tank ill attach a pic
