That's not the reason. I have some duncans in my frag tank that are doing great and it's 0 everything in there (no fish).

I have had the Duncan about 2 months it was doing fine at first then it closed up . The other coral that does not do well in here is GSP

My other corals are: leather, Yuma, lobo, zoa, hammer, toadstool, acan, Ricardians, torch, mushrooms, carpet anemone, Xenia, waving hand,

My duncan will close if i move it or cleaner shrimp hangs out too long.... gsp isnt fond of moving either

If any of the corals you listed don't like a clean tank, it's the xenia. How's that doing?

Those are doing great I have given away lots of shoots and have made other frags for friends

You must have nutrients then. Every SPS/low nutrient reef I've tried it in, xenia dies. But in my 40-60ppm nitrate "dirty" mixed reef, it spreads like wildfire.

I use a canister filer and a protein filter and a refuguim and a uv filter and in the canister filter I use medium

I also dose essential elements
