Question on Powerhead or Sea Swirl

I have 2 mp40 in my 120 and was thinking of getting a mp10 for the back wall ,but since my rock work goes up the back wall im not sure where to put it.. Does anyone have any feedback on the sea swirl I thought about adding that to get a flow from all around

any advice would be great

I really like the SeaSwirl for added random flow on your return. Mine is currently not working, a bit of weak link in their design is if they get any resistance rotating arm pops off. I have mine attached through a drilled hole on euro-bracing and for the second time has binded up and popped off the armature.

I put just a marineland power head in the back corner of my tank to keep flow behind my rocks. It is actually hidden by rocks it has a foam type suction on it

First off corals look ugly at night ...but I already have this spray bar I made with a bunch holes that sprays down the back behind the rock..what im seeing in the apex or vortech manual is a 3rd pump on the back. It makes the nutrient cycle work better I guess .. or im just sitting here thinking of what I can buy next...

I've used both sea-swirls and sea-sweeps. The sea-sweep runs circles around other flow methods: vortechs, closed loops, wave timers, I've tried a lot of them. I've got a Tunze 6095 running short pulse on the sweep and it increases randomness exponentially. As the sweep reaches it's widest point in the arc, the stream bouces off the glass and goes around corners. Well worth the money.

It's the flash more than the time of day. Funny, but I would actually like that to be the standard for for-sale pics of corals....very truthful (if not 100% flattering) picture, sowing complete skin tones as well as pigments and (if your blues are on) florescences.

Ive heard of the sweep ....just hooking a tunze onto a unit similar to the swirl and it rotates the powerhead.
