Question on prazi during TTM

This is mostly curiosity. Since Prazi is generally so safe I'll still be using it twice regardless of using TTM or an in place QT tank.

The question though is about the second treatment. It's needed because Prazi won't eliminate the eggs. Do flukes lay eggs ON the fish though? I always "assumed" the eggs fell, so in theory if treated once and then moved to the next tank there should be no eggs? Only what's on the fish physically could move.

Again, Prazi is so easy I'll continue to do two anyway, so it's more of an "in theory" question :)
 
I truthfully do not know. I'd imagine that, since there's a 4 week fallow period for flukes, they'd be freeswimmers or possibly laid on the fish and then fall off due to current or the prazi itself. It is, as you mentioned, such a mild medication (for most fish) that it'd probably just be a good idea to administer a second or third time anyway
