Question on QT and clownfish ID.

So my two clowns recently passed. One got sick and the other jumped from my tank and my son loved these guys so I went out today and purchased new guys. I got one ocellaris clown for $15 and a snowflake clown for $50. I was told it was a snowflake clownfish but he does not look like my previous snowflake which I was 100% sure was a premium snowflake. To me he looks more like a black ice snowflake clown, what do you guys think?

Also when I took these guys home I put them in my 10 gallon QT. I plan on leaving them there for a month to make sure everything is healthy after what happened to my last snowflake. Can I just leave them for a month with regular water maintenance and keep an eye on them or do I HAVE to medicate them while in QT to be sure they do not bring in any unwanted diseases into my main tank after a month?? I would honestly prefer not to use any medication because I know this can cause stress, I'd rather just keep a real good eye on them for a month but by doing this can a disease still make it to my tank even after one month?? Can diseases lay dormant for that long or will they show by then?

'Snowflake' and other terminology doesn't seem to quite mean what it used to. It is simply a color morph (once upon a time it was only available from a few breeders, thus proving the provenance) not a separate species or anything like that. AFAIK most people medicate during the QT process, as the clownfish can carry a disease for some time, just like we do. I'm one of those reckless people who do not QT, mostly due to the small size of my operation.

I don't medicate unless I see a sign of an illness, but I quarantine for 5-6 weeks to make sure nothing shows up. Apparently fish stores running low levels of copper in their systems can disguise illnesses for a few weeks after purchase.
