I took down one tank and put up another tank, the problem is this, i check my levels tonite and this is what i got, i transfered about 2 cups of sand from the other tank, and added 3 bags of live sand. I also transfered about 40 gallons of the water from the old tank to the new tank and made about 15 gallons of new water.

my levels:

PH - 8.0
NITRATE -0
NITRITE -0
AMMONIA - 0.50
PHOS - 0.5
CALCIUM - using the API i was 800 so i went out and bought another test kit and it was the same...i also used a sailfert test kit and it was 240

i am using RO water and Red Sea Coral Pro salt

i am planning another water change later tonite

I've seen a lot of strange numbers with coral pro salt. Do you know what your alk and mag is?

Wow
I agree check salinity first then the Alk number as something is way off. Calcium at 800 seems pretty hard to get too unless a dosing pump went nuts

Looks like your going through a cycle with the ammonia and phosphate levels

this is the levels today

salinity- 1.028

PH- 8.2
nitrate -0
nitrite-0
ammonia - 0.50
phos-0.25
calcium - api- 800 and the salifert is ---240
kh-12

let me know what i should do

Is there any livestock in the tank?
If not remove 10 gallons of water and replace it with RODI and check the Salinity
Repeat the process until you get it to 1.023/1.024
This will also lower the Alk and Calcium a bit

Agree with above. Red Sea test kits are fairly accurate IME. Also, any livestock in the tank? If so showing any signs of stress? Are you running a phosphate reactor or something like chemipure elite? keep an eye on those ammonia levels!
