My toadstool was doing great then i noticed it was bent over. when i looked at it closer it looks like it is breaking off the rock. Some of the tenicles look like they are trying to come out. There is another head on that rock and that one is not opening either.

I tried to glue the kenya on a rock and then i noticed it did not stay. Should i just use elastic bands or will it grow if i push the kenya between the rocks.

Many soft branching corals will often bend over and "drop" a branch as a means of reproduction. I look at it as a sign of good health.

Pretty tough to kill a toadstool but they can require some patience in times like that. For the Kenya trees, I just pushed mine in a hole in rock and they grew on it within days. A rubber band will help in a higher flow area.

With my Kenya tree I got a large shell pierced the stalk of the Kenya with a tooth pick then rubber banded that to the shell let it attach then place it on your rock work or you can do the same on a bit of LR

I have a Kenya dropping branches almost daily, dropped 4 yesterday. Is this going to take over my tank? It's a 30 gallon Hex. so there isn't much extra space available.

If the Leather does not right it's self increase flow.

It will lol! Put rubble or plugs by it so you can take me to your lfs or give to friends!

If I pulled them and put them in my 125 would my Majestic or hermits eat them?

True I wouldn't be out anything, just hate to see anything unusually. Thanks

If you don't mind one more question, I was reading that green star polyps do better with a little nitrate in the water. I'm guessing the Majestic would chow down on them? The hex doesn't have any but the 125 does. Thanks

Gsp are extremely hardy corals they do well in any tank as long as it's not a huge change in anything but even then they are survivors.
I don't think the angel would go for them either I would say it's the same risk for either coral and don't worry about the nitrates lps and sofites prefer a dirtier tank

The majestic angle shouldn't bothe eather coral.. Mine doesn't...

Just be careful where you place the gsp....once established, they will grow all over everything! I will recommend you this...grow it out on one rock and keep the rock away from others. It would look awesome to have to smaller rock covered in gsp. I wish I would have done that, because now I have gsp growing on a rock that already has a beautiful red monti on it and the gsp is starting to grow on the side of my monti!

Yes, it will take over the tank. I've been looking for years for anything that will eat them. Even a small one out on a separate rock will spread all over your tank. Here's my list of most invasive- Kenya tree, zenia, anethelia, gsp, yellow polyps. All will spread over your rocks and crowd out most corals within a year. They all seem to do well in tanks with a little nitrate so ultra low might slow them down some.
