been treating DT tank for ick again have 17 days left for treatment cycle , I purchased a tassle fish which appears to look healthy and eats great. Was thinking of placing him in the DT tank instead of QT, Anything suggestions be greatly appreciate it.

What are you treating your display tank with? Only thing proven to kill ich is copper which will kill your inverts as well...

Well just so you know you might have serious problems in your display tank in the future. Rock and sand absorb copper iirc. This could leave it leaching in your tank for some time. Thats why fallow periods are important so ich dies naturally while you treat in a QT. I, and most people with ich experience would always reccomend treating in a QT.

Edit: didn't answer your first question. If you have 17 days for ich treatment, and that new fish has ich, its not enough time to kill it. So your previous treatment could be in vain.

Had to many fish that had ick probably going to make this tank fish only you think it be all right to add the new fish I got yesterday with 17 days left of a 30 day treatment in DT

Question, if you have a QT tank why did you choose to treat Display with copper?

Battled ick several months ago in DT apparently it came back, and its 12 ft long tank 600 gallons and has about 20 fish in it sharks were taken out with eels

No. Ich most likely wont be gone even after a 30 day treatment.
