So after having some issues with my Reefled 90 on my Red Sea e260 this week, this thing is fried. Since I am replacing one, I have had thoughts on upgrading and definitely open to recommendations. I am not exactly happy with the lights so far, there again most of my issues could had been a light going bad for the last few years and just got worse. My entire setup is 'stock', can I use the same arms that came with the tank and upgrade to the Reefled 160 or are the arms different? I see a universal mounting arm for the 160, but that is a universal arm. The arms on my tank look designed for the tank itself, the arms actually screw into the back of the tank.

I think Red Sea only makes the one type of mounting bracket for the ReefLEDs, as the spare parts page for the E260 doesn't show any specific light brackets. In answer to your question, it seems like the difference between the 90 and 160 universal mounting arm is how much it extends out (otherwise they look identical). So you may be able to just switch to ReefLED 160s instead (Red Sea could confirm this for you though).

In terms of upgrading to different lights, a pair of XR15 G5 Pros would probably work really well on that tank - although you'd need to look at either hanging them or utilizing RMS mounts (rear or one across the tank).
