Question on what type of netting for a pump

my anemone got stuck on one of my pumps, i was able to get him off but now he is on the bottom and is real puffy... i think some kind of netting would work if i used some kind of tie around it so the anemone cant get caught..


does anyone have any suggestions

I have read of people using the plastic netting that onions come in successfully. I have never tried it but it's a cheap alternative.
