Question on white spots on the glass

i was doing a water change and i noticed white spots on the glass that look like sand but it is not sand. Can someone tell me what it might be.

there was hundreds and when you scrape them off it kinda feels hard...i thought maybe it could be from the salt i use.but i make sure it is mixed well.i use the red seal coral pro...i will try and take pic later.

Yup sounds like snail eggs to me
