Question re: heartbeat/apex

I can't seem to find out anywhere what the time frame is that fusion needs to not be able to ping the apex before getting an alert. Also does it send email and text or just an email?

I received both email and text. Couldn't test for the time period.

It is around a half an hour.

It is not user configurable. Our software is looking at many factors before sending any alert such that false alarms are almost non existent.
