Question: Thoughts on Kessil A80

I have 2 360we over my 90 gallon. Even with those I'm probably at the low end for keeping sps

I think the A80 is a great light for quarantine tanks and other small fish only tanks. I'd only attempt it with corals in a 5 gallon tank at most, even then I wouldn't attempt sps with it. You said nano but that means different things to different people. What are the dimensions?

I’m setting up a 10g, 11.8" L x 15" W x 13" H innovate marine aquarium. I will have mostly Zoa but thinking maybe some birdsnest or monti up top.

I am setting up a new small nano tank and I am stuck on what light to get.

What are your thoughts and opinions on the Kessil A80? How well does it grow coral and can it grow SPS?
If you look through some threads on this site you can find small tanks using a single a80 or multiples in some cases that grow sps. Sorry I can't link any right now but I have seen them

The light depends on how big your tank is.
Kessil A80 is good for tank 10 gallons

Good point....this tank ran with an A80 for a good while.

Can confirm A80 will grow SPS in pico-ish tanks. It grows acro in a 7 gallon I built. I wouldn't try it above 10 gallons though
Have 2 kinds of sps , one is Montipora is okay , anther is Acropora little bit hard
