Question with my tank..

So i had a velvet out break and my tank is going though the 90 day Fallow, my question is I was told my inverts and and such are ok to keep in the tank still, with that said do eels work the same way? Would I be able to get a snowflake eel during this time without any fish to keep the reef active??

A snowflake eel is a fish. It may not look like it but it is.

I would wait- I have never had an eel get velvet but you would hate to introduce the eel only to have the velvet return when you add all your other fish.
