Question would it be ok to start a product review thread ?

I wanted to ask because I always feel better buying a product if it has a good review from some one I actually know? It was just an idea because I was going to post a review of the cadlights skimmer? Thought I might ask for a sticky or a thread?

Sure! Thats what the forums are for, sharing our experiences. As far as a sticky thread we will have to see how popular the thread is. Also the more people post to it the more it will stay at the top.

Product review would be cool. More personal experiences with equipment would be very useful for beginners and experienced hobbyists alike.

Ya I just thought it would be nice to have all the information in one place. Since I was one of the few who took a gamble and tried the new cadlights skimmers , I wanted to share how ridiculously amazing they are for the price.
This would be a great asset to newcomers people revisiting the hobby. The time I was out was short but the technology behind the tanks has exploded. When I left LEDs were moonlights only , now they are growing spa, tank controllers , all these things are now mainstream and I had no idea where to begin. Apex vs reef keeper etc.
I personally don't put alot of stock in retailers reviews because I don't know exactly how they are using the product .

+1 I would love a product review. I think a good user friendly format would be if there was a Product Review forum and then break it down into Skimmers, LED's, ect. and an individual thread for specific products. Only one thread per product. Could be very useful for people to comment on any mods they have done to that product as well.

This is a great idea! I know I am constantly searching for reviews when I'm looking at certain equipment, and sometimes it's hard to find something specific.
