Hello , I have a 10 gallon reef that has been set up for a year now and needed an upgrade. I was thinking and 30 gallon AIO tank . Could I transfer everything over in one day or would I have to restart the whole cycling process.

You can transfer everything but the sand over. I recommend starting with new sand (or rinsing the existing stand very well.

If you need to add more rock, you'll need to cure and cycle it as if you were starting a new aquarium prior to adding it to the tank with livestock.

HTH and good luck with your new build!

This. just make sure water parameters in new tank are same (temp & salinity) as old tank water. Just be on the look out as new tank may go thru a mini cycle as a lot of beneficial bacteria would be lost if u r using new sump/skimmer/pump/pipes/tubes etc in the new tank.

Thank you guys for the help and advice .
