I wanted to know if anyone clean there sump my sump looks dirty with partial can I get alittle help..

I run a bio pellet reactor. Just yesterday i got a white.acrylic safe scrub brush to scrub the walls and baffles and what i could reach in thr sump area with it.
If you have low flow you can blow the detritus too. Hths

I am not sure what the question is but I will try :-).........yes, I do clean my sump about once every 6 months. I just suck out the water with a shop vac, wipe it down, and refill with new saltwater.

I only really ever scrape the glass on the front. I use a shop vac to get up the detritus and dirt that collects in my return chamber whenever it gets pretty bad and I usually take everything like pumps and bio media and give it a good scrub in water change water every few months.

^^^What these guys said^^^

Of course you should clean it out every once in awhile. I find that after 6 months or so there is a layer of gunk in the refugium area about 1/2" thick.
