Tank is 140 gallons and 14mo old. All I have is 1 torch and 4 frags but am having to add like 25ml every other day to stay at 11.5 kh

I don’t think I have a lot of coralline algae but it’s hard to tell cause my rocks were purchased purple.

Would that include vermetid snails? I have hundreds of them all over.

That's a good question. I would think so, but to be honest I have a ton of vermetids in my tank too (literally hundreds as well) and I haven't noticed an uptick in alkalinity consumption.

Oh yea. Those calcify fast too.
