Questions about going on Vacation with fish tanks.

Hi All,

So my questions are We have 2 Fluval 13.5 reef tanks in our furnished basement with fish in them. both are running the recommended fluval skimmers. My question is do they make a bigger cup for the ps2 skimmer? We are going on Vacation Next Tuesday for 5 days and we don't really trust anyone to come in the house to empty our skimmer containers. Plus its kind of a nasty job. lol What can you guys suggest on the subject. I really don't want to come home to 2 tanks of dead fish.

5 days skimmerless is not really a big deal just add a air pump and bubbler. Also if no one is going to be around to feed your fish the skimmer shouldn’t have much to pull out of the water in my opinion.

We will be leaving the feeding blocks that dissolve and I will be plumping them up this week before we leave.

Yes they make them for saltwater fish. We use them in our big tank every vacation we take.
