I have been using a diy light from rapid. It is a 2 channel which has white and blue. My corals have been thriving under these lights but during the day they look washed out and dull. I can make them pop but my tank becomes more blue in turn. Are there any other colors that I an add to my light that can color up my corals but not turn my tank blue all day?

Not everyone Bins their Cree LEDs. Some Bin for brightness R3 v R5, Some Bin for Colour only 0C v 3B and some Bin for Both

The 450nm-455nm Royal Blue will offer a bit better colour pop than the 460-465nm Royal Blue and the Warmer Bins of the Cool White have more of a yellow duller look. If you can turn off your Blues and the whites by themselves are not a crisp white you may have the warmer Bin. Here is a pic of the extreme range of Cree Cool White The left is the 7.5K Bin (0C) the Right is the 5.5K Bin (3B)

If you can find out which Colour Bin of Cool White you have may want to consider swapping it out for a Cooler Bin.

If you have the Better colour bins adding some 410-420nm Violet/UV will help.

Some add Red and Green especially for Zoa and Acan tanks to improve the look. Just put these on a dimmable driver so you can tweak the look.

I have the brighter whites, so I will have to get some violet/uv and I'll add a red and green. Thanks for the help.
