Questions about my live/ dry rock that I bleached.

just finished a three day bleach soak on rock that I received second hand. Everything smells nice and bleachy. LOL

Now that the majority of the gunk is off I have noticed that there is dead coral on the rock. Do I need to remove this before I start rinsing etc and before I set up my tank and start the cycling process?

Is 72 hours in a bleach solution enough to kill off everything? Or should I bleach again?

Also with the corals and ones that appear to have polyps on them is it safe to put them in the tank or do I need to throw those away because I have several pieces that I originally thought were Rock cuz they were all grimy and slimy and now they've been bleached look like Coral.

IMO , you can keep what ya like if it looks cool. No rules to it
Scrub the funky stuff that may be left.

And to get rid of the bleach you should really set it out in the sun.

Looks like you got some nice pieces there! Congrats!

Soak it in prime for a few days to get the bleach out of the rock setting out in the sun works too

72 hours in bleach should be pretty deadly. I know it would be to me.
