Questions about my zoas?

I see a lot of zoas in LFS and on here all seem to extend, but mine don’t. They stay close to their rock. Fully opened but no stretching. Is this due to lighting?

When i broadcast feed in the morning they all close up, is this the feeding response?

Yeah closing when feeding is normal. Could be lighting, parameters zoas don’t tend to stretch out much.

Normally they extend from lack of light.
Not sure if zoas eat, but may be just a bit disturbed during feeding?

Just like if you accidentally bump it, the zoa will close

Yeah zoas will extend due to lack of light so the fact yours aren’t is not a bad thing
