Questions about stock and containment tanks

So soon I will be starting my hopefully long road of addiction to reefing. However I'm am interested mostly in collecting frags rather than building a display tank. So I have been reading up on people who have used the rubber maid tubs as tanks. There cheap about the price of a much smaller aquarium and have a low profile perfect for a large frag tank. I've also discovered what potentially could be a better option for me. Chemical containment tanks. I'm curious what things I should be careful of not just what there made out of but apparently the process used to make them? Something about mold release? Anyway once I actually go to make a purchase on one of these tanks what questions should I ask the manufacturer to make sure they are reef safe? Also are there any downsides to using something like this opposed to a regular tank? I'll post some links of what I'm looking at for reference. Thanks in advance.

Here's another interesting option which makes me ask the question if a round tank would require less powerheads to get good flow compared to a rectangle tank.

And correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I read somewhere that if your tank isn't clear it Should to black? Looking at the blue tanks on the description said it causes less stress to the fish. I don't think I'll have any fish in there but I'm curious what effect a blue tank would have on par levels due to it reflecting more blue light.

I don’t believe a fish ever complained about headaches or feeling dizzy from black or blue background. There is more stress on a fish when it’s caught held in containers with god only knows how many fish then bagged up transported thousands of miles to a distributor then bagged up again sent to shop and once again bagged up and too your tank. I think the fish will be pleased that it’s being left alone after all that. With the lighting any shiny surface will reflect light, but keep in mind different colour lights travel different depts and because the light is shining from the top I don’t think it would make much of a difference on light reflecting, because if light reflected from the background we wouldn’t have any dark patches...

Lol I probably over thought the color aspect of it . And I've since found a thread on another forum confirming that hdpe is kosher to use. The issue that I have found is shipping. About double the price of the containment tanks themselves. But here maybe today or tomorrow I'm going to head out to a farm and tractor supply store and see if they can't get these to me cheaper.
