Questions for Acropower Users?

I ordered some Acropower to see if I can get longer polyp extension, growth and color out of sps frags. My nutrient levels are N03 20ppm and P04 0.04, also dosing 8 ML Nopox with my Neptune Dos. Should I dose the full recommended MLs or should I cut back some? Also should I dose per day or weekly? With my N03 at 20ppm could I see unwanted bacteria forming in my system?

I’d keep dosing your nopox and testing phosphates daily. Don’t let them bottom out. As long as your skimmer is pulling stuff out, you should see a pretty rapid drop in nitrates as long as you keep dosing nopox and you keep Po4 available. Secondly, I’d wait until you get around 2ppm nitrates before you start adding acropower. If your overall goal is nutrient reduction, that’s going to work against it. Get control over that aspect first and then use products like acropower to replace all of the nutrients that are being consumed by bacteria.
