I have a few noob questions on their kits.

1. Can sharing of the syringe between different kits, ex. Ca & Alk, cause errors with the reading? Markings on Alk syringe faded so I'm using one from Ca kit. I rinse with RODI between tests.

2. Are the titrate from Mg, Ca, and Alk kits the same and just labeled differently? I guess this can be answered with the answer from question 1.

3. Can the titrate be purchased separately? Doesn't look like it but thought I'd ask anyways.

Don't share syringes unless you clean them very, very well.

No, the titrants are not the same. The alk one is an acid, the calcium and magnesium ones are a metal chelator like EDTA. They may not be the same concentrations.

I do not know on separate purchase, but I've not seen them myself.

Perfect. Thanks.

One tip to prevent the markings from fading off is to cover it with scotch or clear tape.
