I have one or two questions. First the huge coral that I am calling a Xenia, Is it really a Xenia?. I have the one that pulsates this one simply flows.
Second it has white at the tips of some of its branches has anyone seen this before?
I am also trying to prune it becauseit is really spreading. I posted pictures below.
My anenome has changed overnight. Is it trying to split the top part is attaching to a rock. I have atttached a picture of how anome used to look 2 days ago.

) by peeling it from the base using a stiff flare edge....even an old credit card might work depending on how tightly attached it is. After you get it peel back enough just cut the flap off with either an exacto knife...or even a pair of shears. Be careful about losing some polyps into the water column as each on will create a new colony.
