so thinking about jumping into the hobby again but small. Thinking about a new 32g bio cube what is ur thoughts. Was thinking a small rimless but then evap. Not sure what’s every ones thoughts

Look at the Waterbox, Red Sea, IM and Deep Blue tanks. They all have some sweet small footprint setups that are nice. I have a Deep Blue 24 x 24 x 12 with a 20 x 20 x 20 sump. Love this setup. Added a Tunze ATO and it’s a great easy tank. I have a AI Hydra 26 for lighting but a Prime would do a great job.

Saw a 60 gallon deep blue with stand and sump on cl for $200. I know that has very little to do with what you were asking but man I like that size tank similar footprint to the BioCube but a lot more room.

Biocubes and older rsm are nice but require led/light upgrades better pumps typically and are tough aqua scapes. I’ve had both and prolly wouldn’t go back. I loved my 57g rimless tank so much better all around tank plus so many more options to make it your own. Seriously considering a upgrade already to around that size from my little 13g tank lol

You will love the 32 cube! Just do your research about the lighting before you invest in Coral.

I would go away from the biocube and look at some of the other options that Jeremy mentioned. As previously mentioned biocubes require a bunch of upgrades and I personally think getting the right type of flow is tricky.

If you have the space, I would definitely go with a 57-60 gal. Not too small or too big. Like DaveS says, many more options. I know you had big tanks before but I think you would become bored real quick with a 32 gal.

Seagull I believe I sold my old 57 g to you, do you still have it running? How are you tanks? Man that was a few years ago lol

Thank you. yea I’m trying not to dive back into a 300dd again lol but I have never had anything under a 55 so it’s a whole new experiance for me and the hard part is the small amount of fish lol gonna drive me crazy

Why not like a 75? It has some length but is still on the smaller side. I have a 60 cube and find it hard to pick fish that I like because of tank length, it might explain the 180 waiting to make the trip into my basement.
